Bhutan Language


Dzongkha language - Dzongkha (རྫོང་ཁ) is the national language of the Kingdom of Bhutan. The word "dzongkha" means the language (kha, ཁ་) spoken in the dzong (རྫོང་), dzongs being the fortress-like monasteries established throughout Bhutan by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in the 17th century.

Sharchopkh language - Sharchopkh (also called Tshangla) is a Tibetic language of the Tibeto-Burman language family spoken in the eastern parts of Bhutan as well as adjacent parts of Arunachal Pradesh.

Nepali language - Nepali (Khaskura) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in Nepal, Bhutan, and some parts of India and Burma. It is the official language of Nepal.

Ngalopkha language - Ngalopkha is a derivative of Tibetan language spoken in parts of western Bhutan.
